The foundation for GLOBAL DRINKS is laid in the early ’90s of the previous century by importing major brands to several European countries. The establishment of a wide-ranging sales & distribution network begins.

 

In the course of the following years an expansion of the assortment takes place in various segments through the addition of own brands; the build-up of necessary production facilities is driven ahead.

 

New markets are gradually opened up; the export of own brands within Europe, as well as to the USA, the Middle East and the Far East, gains increasing significance.

 

In 2005, GLOBAL DRINKS GmbH is founded in Hamburg as the German branch of the family enterprise in order to develop the largest market in western Europe with a population of over 80m people.

GLOBAL DRINKS can draw on structural resources that have been established and proven in many European countries while making use of this market position as a basis for further expansion.
